Alex & steffen

The German duo Alex&Steffen, made up of partners Alexander Kiesl and Steffen Hacker, was formed in 2005 after they both studied animation and special effects at the University of Baden-Württemberg.

Meshing their passion for animation and video games, Alex&Steffen direct commercials that mix action scenes and incredible special effects. The two filmmakers also oversee the postproduction of all their projects, which allows them to supervise their films from a to z.

Transformer robots, futuristic creatures, amazing effects...the duo takes us into extraordinary worlds with an amazing sense of detail and standout precision in the execution. Since taking home the Young Director Award in Cannes in 2005, for their short film Kernseif, Alex&Steffen have directed several commercials for Nissan, Honda, Bosch, Alfa Romeo, X Box, Snickers, and many others.
