Born in New York, Jaci Judelson now shares her time between NY and Paris. She began her career at Vogue Magazine, conceiving and styling for their beauty pages, and has since become a well-respected writer and director of documentary films and commercials.
Her documentary films include Undressed: Fashion in the 20th Century for Canal+, Je m'appelle Greco, a film on the life of legendary French singing icon Juliette Greco, and Tina Barney: Social Studies a documentary film about the renowned art photographer. The latter premiered at the Barbican Museum in London, toured numerous international film festivals, and most recently aired on the Sundance Channel in the US.
Her commercial credits include international campaigns for The Gap, Nokia, Evian, Dove, Match.com, UBS Bank; she has also directed films for Mercedes-Benz, Ralph Lauren, H&M, Vogue Paris, GQ Magazine and Architectural Digest.
Jaci’s signature style is feminine and full of special stolen moments, she has a way of scripting anecdotes that brings characters to life, creating films that are full of intimacy, charm and fantasy. With her simple and elegant visuals she captures the spontaneity of real life like no other.
