After working on music videos in Germany and in the U.K., Markus Walter started directing commercials in 2007. Now based between Los Angeles, Hamburg and Berlin, Markus has directed films for many automobile brands: Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Opel, Smart, Honda, Land Rover, BMW, Dacia… But his humour and stunning execution soon seduced clients from a broad spectrum of industries: EA Sports, Bank of America, IKEA, Dell, Coca-Cola, Fuji, Vodafone, AOL, McDonald’s, Sony, etc.
In just a few years working in advertising, Markus has received numerous awards for his films, including a Silver Lion at Cannes, several awards in New York and at the ADC Europe among others. His films for Audi and Smart have each won 7 awards.
Breathtaking action sequences with extraordinary special effects and clever humour are some of the recurring elements in Markus’ very cinematographic films.
