A French native, Tony Frontal studied art history before moving to London for two years, where he worked as an editor for Pearson TV. Upon his return to Paris, he worked in production and took his first steps as Art Director in advertising.

He started working in the world of music as an Art Director and Commissioner with Because Music before moving to the label Cinq7. He soon expanded his range by directing his first music videos collaborations: Gentleman Drivers, Jean Nipon, Ratatat. Solo projects were quick to follow such as music videos for Séverin and Breakbot, and a viral campaign for Radio Nova.
