Akama

Despite the Japanese sounding name, Akama is French directing duo Alexandre Ada and Cédric Jeanne. 

Akama’s passion for all things animated from fighting babies to adorable hedgehogs has led them to create a glorious body of work that dares to compete with Pixar’s best! 

Masters of 2D and 3D character animation, photo-real 3D and live action / animation mix, Akama have seduced advertisers worldwide with their creativity and boundless enthusiasm.  Their commercials for NESCAFE, KITKAT, LACOSTE and WILKINSON SWORD have won numerous awards in Cannes, New York, London and Paris.

Having studied fine art and graphic design respectively, Alexandre and Cédric formed Akama in 2004.  They began by experimenting with video game trailers and short films before joining Wanda in 2006 and jumping straight into advertising.

Bursting with ideas and experimental new techniques, these directors are full of potential and always up for the next challenge.
